The 20ft Open Top Original is a factory-built Open Top container for the transport of cargo that has to be loaded from above. Thanks to its open roof, this container is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications and project cargo.

Original Open Top build – Produced as an Open Top from the factory, not converted from a Dry Container.

The 20ft Open Top Original is widely used for transporting machinery, industrial components and other cargo that has to be loaded or unloaded from above. Its compact 20ft size also makes this container type practical at locations with limited space.

Unlike a Rebuild Open Top, this container was originally manufactured as an Open Top. This makes it a suitable choice for shipping lines, container operators and project logistics companies specifically looking for original Open Top equipment.

DCS also offers 20ft Open Top Rebuild containers. These are converted by us from existing Dry Containers and offer a more cost-effective alternative for customers who do not require an original factory build.

Condition & availability

Our 20ft Open Top Original containers are offered as standard in Cargo Worthy (CW) condition.
